The Renovation Nation Report conducted by Money.co.uk found that over three-quarters of UK homeowners (77%) spent money on updating their properties during 2021, partly as a result of lockdown restrictions during the pandemic. However, it’s also worth noting that over 20% of these homeowners were renovating their garden and outdoor seating areas, and a third (32%) said that if money was no object, they would install a summer house or garden work studio on their property.
