Construction-starts fall 22% in Q1, Glenigan finds
Averaging £5.07bn per month, work commencing on-site fell 22% against the preceding quarter, and now stands 46% lower than the same time last year

Glenigan, an insight and intelligence expert in the construction industry, has found that there was a “consistently weak” construction-start performance in the first quarter of the year, as the industry “navigates a depressed economic landscape”.
